this world wide event. it is set up so that scouts around the world, all hike on the same day. the photo is this years patch. since this is a jamboree patch. scouts may wear it above their right pocket.

start time is at 8 am for all hikers. finish time for pack 10 am, and 20 mile hikers is around 4 pm.(or until completed).

may 9, 2015. this will also be a 20 mile hike for the scouts too earn their hiking merit badge.

pack will do a 5 mile hike. this is also a family event.

cost $5.00 per scout. $2.50 per leader.
(only scouts and scouters can earn this award). 

you can buy past J.O.T.T. patches at $1.00 each. please see your scoutmaster. (all funds go in the troop account)

st. martha's "walk for the hungrey"our scouts have been doing this event since 2004. we help the church with first aid, road guards, water stations, set-up and clean-up, transporting of walker's. (this is for the troop / crew only). inter-city walk in valinda, la puente.

the crop walk is with the methodist churches.ths is another way our scouts can earn this award. we do this walk in honor of our past cubmaster bill dugan. the crop walk is open too all our scouts. city of covina. 

only scouts and leaders can earn this award.

this is a 5 mile inter-city walk / hike. 

 

after cub scouts earn their belt loop. they will have the chance too earn other type of hiking awards. like this cub scout 5 mile day hiker award.
