Wanted!
Pack 161, just like the Army, is looking for a "few good men and women" to aid the pack in a successful scouting year.
With your help, we can spread the load amongst many so that no one person is overwhelmed or overburdened by it all.
This is YOUR pack. It is only as good as its volunteers.
The following positions are NOT LIMITED to those who wear a uniform! If any of the mentioned positions appeals to you please let Jana Reph or Barbara Powers know.
Our pack requires active participation to help make it smooth operation and an enjoyable and meaningful experience for scouts and their families. Pack 161 is a family oriented pack. We want to include everyone in on the fun.
This url link has many of the leadership roles and the responsibilities that come with the role. Please browse this and see if anything matches your talents. This list only covers the basic Pack structure. It does not cover the "small stuff", but it gives you an idea of what the pack needs. Please note the information came from The Viking Council, so you will see that council listed in the instructions. Both the Circle ten and Viking councils follow a very similar structure. There may be slight differences in wording and setup, but close enough.

COMMITTEE MEMBERS
( THE COMMITTEE IS OPEN TO ALL. This is simply a time to gather and plan activities for the next month. We welcome your ideas and help. )
This is YOUR pack and it is run by people just like YOU. This is your chance to make a huge impact on the youth of this generation!!!!!
Please prayerfully consider these extremely important and incredibly rewarding roles.
Remember not all roles are leadership. Most are one time event roles. We have included the full list of possible ways to help us out for your consideration. Everything listed in green are major leadership roles the rest are part time or one time roles. Every little bit helps.
Please note some roles are filled, but require a shadow to learn the role in order to aid in leader transition as leaders move on to ScoutsBSA roles.
There are also many training opportunities online and in person to aid in learning more about your chosen leadership role. Just ask your Cubmaster or Committee Chair and they will direct you to the position specific areas for you to concentrate on.
